On June 29th, Weihai-Seoul full-cargo flight operated by Incheon Airlines was officially opened. The flight was the first full-cargo flight since Weihai Airport opened in 1996, and it was an international cargo flight. It made up for the absence of full-cargo flights in Weihai and become another milestone in the development history of weihai civil aviation after the passenger throughput exceeded 2 million in 2017. It is reported that the flight's export cargo mainly includes electronic products, e-commerce goods, transit goods via Incheon Airport, etc., and imported goods mainly include express items, electronic accessories, clothing, and aquatic products. Landed in Weihai at 12:00 and took off in Weihai at 13:15.The model was B737-400F. The single cargo carrying capacity reached 16 tons, which is 5 times of traditional passenger aircraft. At the same time, all cargo planes can deliver goods in a wider size and with a larger discount compared to passenger aircraft transportation, which can effectively meet the demand of weihai air freight market. At present, the flight is scheduled to fly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the density will increase in the later period depending on the market conditions. In the course of the flight, all departments will continue to cooperate closely and strengthen coordination, striving to build a fast, convenient and professional air gold route between Weihai and South Korea. |
