Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province officially announced the list of green manufacturing units in Shandong Province for 2025. A total of 6 enterprises (parks) in Wendeng District were selected. They are: three provincial-level green factories, namely Shandong Biao Biotechnology Co., LTD., Shandong Wantu Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. and Weihai Changhe Optical Guide Technology Co., LTD., two provincial-level green industrial parks, namely Wendeng Economic Development Zone and Wendeng Chemical Industry Park, and one provincial-level green supply chain management enterprise, Hong 'an Group Co., LTD. The number of selections from Wendeng District ranks first in the city.
